At this stage, no I don’t on my website but I do on Etsy for those in Canada and New Zealand.

Only those in Australia (Mainland + Tasmania) can order from me at this time via this website.

I'm more than happy to arrange local pickup and local drop off with you if you contact me via the chat box, or via any means on the contact page

Note: Local drop off only applies to those who live in certain suburbs in NSW. I'm unable to set local drop off up without this needing to be arranged ahead of time to give you that option at checkout

Where do you ship to? Who is your shipping provider?

I only ship within Mainland + Tasmania Australia at this stage for website orders. For those that order via Etsy, it will be to those in Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Australia Post is my shipping provider

addresses like Australia Post Parcel Lockers and all that are allowed as long as the total size and weight of the shipment fits within the requirements for the respective address and you get at least parcel post.

By default, orders under and up to $500 (excluding shipping) will not require signature on delivery but is optional (signature on delivery is required for orders over $500)

If you don’t want/can’t use Australia Post, contact support@seaflame3dprints.com.au and we can arrange an alternative carrier with you

then contact me to get that arranged

NOTE: I will not accept any form of cryptocurrency nor cheques as a form of payment

How long does my order take to make?

That varies a lot as everything is printed on demand. I rarely keep stock around. Depending on a number of factors, including:

  • how busy the printers will be working (aka orders ahead of yours) + printer functionality
  • what you order is + quantity
  • Stock of filament
  • Delivery/Obtainability of non printed parts thats needed for some items (ex: Magnets)

Look at the individual product pages for eta for production. As a rough estimate, it could take between next business day to about 1-2 weeks for your order to finish making, assuming all 3D printers are fully functional and that I have/can obtain stock of certain colours and stuff needed for the order (ex: keyrings).

I will inform you on the estimated time it would take for your items and where you are in the queue. I will also inform you if something goes wrong (like little/no stock of a certain colour (which you would likely get the option of choosing a different colour or a full/partial refund depending on the circustances) or a 3D printer being down).

Large quantity orders (look at individual listings for quantity size) should contact me ahead of time at support@seaflame3dprints.com.au so I can make sure we have enough filament and arrange an allocated time for that order to complete

How long does my order take to ship?

It depends on where you live and when you order for the items to arrive to you.

I will ship items out every Tuesday morning/midday at the latest. If needed sooner, contact me at support@seaflame3dprints.com.au to see if I can get that arranged. Please note that once the item gets dropped off to the post office, I have no control over the speed of their deliveries, especially during busy periods like Christmas or poor weather conditions

Do you use generative AI?

No I don’t. Everything in Seaflame 3D Prints are designed by humans

Due to environmental concerns alongside the fact that generative AI has been trained on stolen materials, Seaflame 3D Prints does not support the use of generative AI, including “AI art”, generative text (eg: ChatGPT) or “AI 3D models”.

Everything on this website and on my Etsy page are designed by humans, whether it’s myself or some amazing 3D modellers and I take all the photos myself and word all the listings myself (unless otherwise stated, which appropriate credit is given but are still done by humans with no AI enchantments)

3D Printing specific

Is your stuff fragile? is it going to fall apart in my hands?

Unless labelled otherwise, stuff printed by Seaflame 3D Prints is not fragile.

I understand where this concern comes from. Larger corporations (like KMART Australia) and people trying to sell them as cheaply as possible do have their ones break just by holding them, with some even breaking within their packaging. That happens due to the settings and materials that the manufacturer of these places are using, which would be the stuff that would result in the cheapest item possible and made the quickest for mass production, but at the cost of durability and quality.

Stuff that is printed by Seaflame 3D Prints are made using settings that ensure durability and quality, though that incurs more cost and takes longer, therefore have to price things higher compared to some of the competition.

Pretty much you're getting the quality you pay for

There are some items that Seaflame 3D Prints will offer that are fragile and there not being much I can do to improve that. In situations like that, the individual variant/product listing will be labelled as fragile.

Do you do custom items?

yes! However, there are some restrictions for this

Seaflame 3D prints are more than happy to do custom orders/stuff that are not listed! Contact me to arrange this in either the chat box or via the contact page!

Seaflame 3D Prints WILL NOT do custom orders that are/will:

  • Weapons, even for props (whether functional or not) including guns and crossbows
  • Cookie Cutters/Food Utensils/Things that are designed to interact with food/sensitive parts of the body. Due to the nature of 3D printing, while PLA (in its pure form) is generally food safe, Seaflame 3D Prints is not able to guarantee a contaimination free space during the 3D printing process and due to additives for filament colours which are not food safe, therefore would not be in compliance with Australian law around making these kind of items
  • Aquarium items/Things intended for pets. Alongside the reasons above (in the cookie cutter section), PLA is biodegradable, so sitting in an aquarium for long periods will cause it to degrade in the water
  • Intellectually Protected (IP) items where I don't have permission to sell. Eg: Disney, Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh characters
  • For those under the age of 3. Australian safety regulations around items for those 0-3 are very strict and due to the nature of 3D printing, these items would not comply with safety laws surrounding these items
  • Promotes/Encourages harm in any way
  • Things that have hate speech written on it or will otherwise offend or “appropriate” any group of people. stuff like requesting for indigenous art/designs as the owner of (and the only person managing) seaflame 3D prints is non indigenous or stuff like the Nazi swastika. However, there are exemptions to this rule (for the "offend or appropriate" section, No exemptions for the hate speech stuff).

Examples of acceptable stuff: "alphabet mafia/rainbow mafia", while often used in a derogatory way, many in the LGBTQIA+ community have adopted this label for self identification. Happy to do something like that for those within the LGBTQIA+ community or who otherwise don't intend it to be malicious. Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander designs made by an Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander 3d modeller where they allow for sales. In instances like that, i'll happily offer sales with profits being donated to Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander charities/be paid back to the designer (depends on the agreement)

Seaflame 3D Prints are happy to do the following:

  • LGBTQIA+ pride items/pronoun pins-keychains/flag patterned items (Owner is a member of the LGBTQIA+ community) and this stuff is available year round. exemptions do apply with some reasons being due to colour/3D printing restrictions
  • Non Intellectually Protected items/Where commercial sales are allowed. realistic animals, things in the public domain (eg: mancala game) and original designs where the designer allows for commercial sales (eg: Stuff that are currently listed. Seaflame 3D Prints do have commercial rights for the items from the respected designers where the design is not my own)
  • Minor modification to existing listings (eg: adding magnets, adding text (some items only), keychains of certain parts only (eg: head, tail, leg))
  • Things like disability awareness/pride and access needs (eg: "I have Autism/I am Autistic", "please offer me a seat" pins/cards)

If you are unsure about whether i'll make something, you're welcome to contact me (using the chat box or via the contact page) to ask

What are your stuff made from?

My 3D printed stuff are made from PLA - polylactic acid (polylactide). Most of my filament have additional stuff added in for extra toughness, which these ones are labelled as PLA+. Another variant I have is Silk PLA/PLA+.

I might offer stuff in different materials (like PETG and TPU) in the future.

What colours do you offer?

I offer a wide range of colours, from standard to special effect ones.

This list will change overtime, so check back often

(update underway, check back soon)

Note: Not all items will have the same colour options so it is best to check the individual listing for colour options. Also note that colour options may change without notice

Do you outsource to a 3rd party provider for production?

Physical items, no I don’t. I make the physical products with my 3D printers. Most 3D models are from others.

Most 3D models are designed by 3rd parties but they don’t work for me directly. The copyright of the 3D models themselves belong to the respective designers, I just have a commercial license to allow for sale of physical products.

If you are outside of Australia, it is best you look on websites like Etsy or maybe even browse local crafts/farmers markets for local sellers so you can get a similar item you are seeking while supporting local. I am even happy to help you find a local seller if you want to go that route (though that is not always possible)

Do you make your own designs? Which designers do you have licensing for?

Small range of stuff are designed by me (vendor label being Seaflame 3D Prints), but majority of designs on here are by third parties

I do have a very small range of stuff that are designed by me. However, at this time, I do heavily rely on third party designers. I have licensing to sell designs physically.

The designers I have licensing for are:

What type of 3D printers do you have?

I have Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) 3D printers. There would be a roll of material (whether its PLA, ABS, TPU, Etc) that would get melted by the printer’s nozzle and cooled down to form layers of material, following along a specified path, building up to the final product. I currently have 3 Multimaterial/Multicolour capable printers, which allows me to do up to 4 non striped colours/Materials at the same time.

The names I gave my printers and the models I have are (LengthxWidthxHeight):

Mage - Bambulab A1 (256x256x256mm print area. This printer allows me to do multimaterial/multicolour at original sizes for the models I sell alongside it currently being the largest printer I have. large items and most multicolour items would be printed from this one)

Marble - Bambulab P1S (256mmx256mmx256mm** print area. This printer allows me to do multimaterial/multicolour at original sizes for the models I sell. Thin tall items (like pens) will be done on this one. large items and most multicolour items would likely be printed from this one

**by default, this printer has a restriction zone of 18mmx28mm on the front left corner (full access everywhere else) and 250mm print height due to limitations Bambulab implemented for proper functionality. Prints that go into this restricted zone will be done on Mage)

Mia - Bambulab A1 Mini (180x180x180mm print area. This printer allows me to do multimaterial/multicolour at smaller scales for most models. if you got a small print, it would likely be done here)

I have my own 3D printer and would like to print these. Do you offer the digital files of the stuff you sell?

Due to licensing reasons, I am unable to sell or otherwise give you direct access to the digital versions of the files that are not designed by me. I'm happy to direct you to where you can obtain some of the digital files from their respective designers.

Note: Not all physical products I offer have a public digital variant available. Some are exclusives to those who subscribe via places like patreon or where the file is no longer available publicly, which in that event, I will tell you of that and point you to the right place if the file is still available.
